Our day in Biloxi Mississippi

On Friday January 4th we drove down to Biloxi Mississippi to go to a hands on discovery center and a Mississippi Seawolves minor league hockey game. Both my parents were suppose to come, however my mom got pretty sick so she stayed home in bed all day long. she barely left the room. Brooklyne did not come with us either, we were lucky enough to find someone in our ward who would keep her for the entire day and be at our home till 1:00 a.m. for when we finally got home.

Anyway, the kids had a Fantastic time at the discovery center. they really got into the roll playing and we had a great time.

The kids loved dining while taking a long train ride. Tanner kept wondering why the strawberries did not taste like the ones I feed him for breakfast at home.

After hopping on our flight to Mexico - - - - Pioletted by Trenton and Kolby - - - - we had a good old fiesta while dancing to some good cantina music.

After our long day and parting in Mexico, we took another flight to France this time for an afternoon tea at a fancy hotel. Trenton made sure that he checked us all in so that we would each get our own room.

We started to miss the states, so we headed back to tehe USA and landed in Chicago (why you might ask,,, because that is where our piolets decided we should go, just like the other places). We all decided that it would be a good idea to spend time learning and experiencing life like those who have challenges such as being blind or not being able to walk. Trent and Kolby really enjoyed playing basketball - go figure.

Then we headed to Downtown Chicago so that we could run the evening news. Kolby was our local chef and Tanner was our celebrity taste tester. Trent was our weatherman, he did a great job, however he never really addressed the Hurricane in Nevada, hummmmm - maybe it was just an oversight. Donald concluded the broadcast with explaining why the gulf coast was still in shambles as he did an agriculture report.

As the day drew to a close, we traveled south and rowed our way thru the swamps of Mississippi because we did not want to be late for the hockey game.

Well, truth be told, the reason we made the 3 hour trip to Biloxi was so we could take the kids to a hockey game. The Mississippi Seawolves were playing against the Trenton Devils! Trent thought it was the coolest thing on the planet. eh was the only one cheering for the Devils in a croud full of major Seawolves fans. Unfortuantely for Trent (who had prayed that morning that the Devils would win the game) the Devils lost the game, 4 to 1. He was really bummed, however, his name had been announced over the PA declaring it was his birthday, so that kinda made up for the game loss.
